Aleta, As fellow art students at California Lutheran University many, many years ago, it is so interesting to see where our talents have taken us. I am totally in awe of your bead work. Your three-dimensional designs are absolutely breathtaking. Professor Weber would be proud! and I am certainly honored to have known you "back then".
Well, I finally got here and I am even more amazed than I thought I would be. Your work is complex and very thoughtful. The work is personal, political, social - you deserve all the accolades you get. Are you still doing this kind of beadwork or have you shifted to a different phase? At some point, we do let go of our pain and move on. My personal experience is that art heals and after the healing I don't have to do compulsive work that I did when was working through a trauma. This isn't well written, but I am sure you understand what I am tryng to say. Thank you for sharing your life through your art. Did you feel it was a brave thing to do or did you even think about that?

Just stopped by to see how the site was going. I really like this transparent look you have at the moment - lets you see more of the background. Looking forward to seeing how you continue to develop the site.
